Clean Water NJRain washes pollutants into storm drains and directly into our lakes, rivers and the ocean. So what can you do?

The Clean Water NJ website (www.cleanwaternj.org/) has plenty of helpful information about what you can do around the house, in the garden, and in the community to help reduce the amount of harmful contaminants in our water.

Order of the Eastern Star Hosts Painting Party Fundraiser on Saturday, July 1st

The Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #224 is having a painting party to benefit Multiple Sclerosis on Saturday, July 1st from 11 am until 2 pm at the Masonic Lodge #263, 14 Lincoln Ave. All proceeds will go to the MS Society to benefit the research for a cure for MS. Crazy 8’s Club at the Library starts Monday, July 3rd

Have you heard about Crazy 8’s? It’s an over-the-top club designed for kids grades 3-5 to get them fired up about math. Every week kids get to build, run and jump, make music and make a mess! You will have a blast with mischief-making activities like “Beach Ball Party,” playing with “Funny Money,” creating a “Glow-in-the-Dark City” and much more. Homeowners: The filing deadline for 2014 Homestead Benefit Applications was November 30, 2016. Homestead Benefit credits for 2014 appeared on May 2017 Property Tax bills.
