Starting Friday, July 14th, Little Falls property owners now have the option to pay their property taxes online. Why wait in line at the Tax Collector’s office when you now can pay your taxes from home? There are no fees for paying taxes online. Click the button to begin. College Benefits Research Group (CBRG) will host a college planning workshop at the Library on Wednesday, October 25th at 7 pm. This workshop is for parents of college-bound high school students and takes a three pronged approach to finding the right school: academically, socially and financially. The workshop will present strategies for maximizing your family's college financial aid and lowering your out-of-pocket costs. Parents can speak with a top-ranked academic planner who can discuss the selection and admissions process, essay writing, and interviewing skills. The workshop will advise parents of high school students on what they need to know as they take on the challenge of applying, being accepted, and paying for college. Gems & Treks are clubs for boys and girls, K to 12th grade, with lessons, crafts, fellowship, field trips, and fun activities that help us put our faith into action. The Baby Box Co., inspired by a Finnish tradition, is an innovative, integrated program equipping parents with education and resources to give their babies a safe start in life. Baby Boxes can be used as a safe sleep space for a baby's first five to six months of life. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

Did you know that reading to your child is one of the most powerful ways to boost his or her brain power? Sharing books helps your child learn pre-reading skills including: understanding the sounds that letters make, developing a larger vocabulary, and building background knowledge. As of January, the Library invites you and your young ones (any child from birth until enters kindergarten) to participate in 1000 Books Before Kindergarten. The program is free and provides a great way to bond with your child. Stop by the front desk to register and pick up a folder that contains a program overview, log, suggested book list, and early literacy tips. Logging books read is as simple as checking off a number on a paper log or on the app. Incentives are offered at each 100 mark. Don't delay, get started today! The Passaic County Farmers’ Market operates from June through November. For income requirements, please contact the Department of Senior Services after June 15th at 973-569-4060.
