The Little Falls Police Department is committed to providing law enforcement services that are fair, effective, and impartially applied. It is in the best interests of everyone that your complaint about the performance of an individual officer is resolved fairly and promptly. The Little Falls Police Department has formal procedures for investigating your complaint. These procedures are designed to ensure fairness and protect the rights of both citizens and law enforcement officers. These procedures can be found in the citizen complaint information sheet.

Filing A Complaint

Your identity is not required, however, may be helpful in the event of follow-up questions.

Ways to file a complaint:

  • In-person: Respond to Little Falls Police Department Headquarters and advise you wish to file an internal affairs complaint.
  • Phone: Contact 973-256-0200 and advise you wish to file an internal affairs complaint.
  • E-mail: Complete the Internal Affairs Complaint form (located below) and attach it in an email to internalaffairs@littlefallspd.org.
  • Mail: Complete the Internal Affairs Complaint form (located below) and mail or drop off to Little Falls Police Department Attn: Internal Affairs, 225 Main Street, Little Falls, NJ 07424.
  • Fax: Complete the Internal Affairs Complaint form (located below) and fax to 973-256-2542.
