Little Falls Township is seeking a highly responsible and service-oriented individual to join the Tax Collector’s Office. This is a full-time Tax Clerk position working under the direction of the Tax Collector and Administration. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a Tax Collector’s Office. Functions include, but are not limited to: billing, collection of taxes, assisting with Senior Citizens’ and Veterans’ deduction, reconciling deposits and inputting daily records into the computer, handling telephone and written inquiries concerning the Tax Collector’s office, interacting with residents and assisting with requests for information. This position demands independent work, initiative, and ability to work with frequent interruptions. Proficiency in Edmunds and experience with PILOTs is required.
