The Clifton Health Department has organized a FAFSA workshop to be offered by the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority to guide families and students through the FAFSA application process. The workshop will be held on Thursday, February 20th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Clifton Senior Center, 900 Clifton Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013.
Topics Covered include:
- Planning for College Financial Aid - organization
- Federal, State, and College Aid including
- private scholarships
- How aid is calculated
- The FAFSA Application Process (will also discuss the CSS Profile application for certain schools financial aid)
- Loans - federal and others
