Passaic County Surrogate Court Judge, Zoila Cassanova, Esq., in keeping with her commitment to the residents of Passaic County and her desire to render convenient, complete, and helpful service to the residents of Passaic County, has established an expanded schedule of night court locations.
Starting January 2024, Passaic County Surrogate’s Night Court locations is expanding to Totowa. Night court sessions will be held on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at the Totowa Public Library, located at 537 Totowa Road, by appointment only.
Probate Clerk, Arturo Muniz, who has been with the Surrogate’s Court for over 9 years, will be leading the Totowa Night Court team. Although Totowa is the newest location, Surrogate Court has 5 other locations throughout the County: West Milford, Clifton, Hawthorne, Wayne and Paterson, also by appointment only. Passaic County residents are welcome to register at any one of the six locations for an appointment.
The purpose of night court is to afford residents of the County an opportunity to avail themselves of the services of the Surrogate’s Court, by giving them the opportunity to avoid taking time off during the day from their employment or other daytime commitments.
